MAA is not a stand-alone charter school. It is woven into Milwaukie High School which provides a unique opportunity for MAA students to, in addition to their MAA classes, take any of the electives, advanced, and AP classes at MHS.
Milwaukie Academy of the Arts has a Day 1 and Day 2 schedule. On a Day 1, they will attend class periods 1, 2, 3, and 4. On Day 2's they will attend Days 5, 6, 7, and 8.

In district students will forecast in their current classes, in their eighth grade middle school class. For out of district students, we will host an forecasting evening about the second week of April. Admitted students will receive detailed information about next steps after accepting.
No, MHS is a closed campus. We have beautiful, large indoor and outdoor spaces, a cafeteria/commons, library and expansive lobbies for students to congregate, socialize and eat.
2301 SE Willard Milwaukie, OR. MAA is located within Milwaukie High School, MAA students are fully integrated into the Milwaukie campus. There is not a separate designated MAA building, classroom or space. MAA is easily accessible by public transportation, we are located on the MAX Orange Line stop at Main St and SE 21st Ave and served by Trimet buses 29 and 32. We encourage families to carpool, ride their bikes or walk. Student parking (for a fee) is available for upperclassmen.
