High School Summer School Program

Does your child need to sign up for Credit Recovery summer school classes?

If your high school student needs to recover credits for classes where they were unsuccessful in the past, the North Clackamas School District offers a proven Summer School program with focused opportunities for high school students to recover credits required for their high school diplomas. Here is useful information for you to know about the program and how to get your student registered to participate:

Summer School Information

How to register for summer school:

  1. Talk with your school counselor to figure out which courses you must take in summer school.

  2. Beginning on Wednesday, May 1, the online registration process will open, and students can register for the courses they need to recover during the program.

  3. TALK WITH YOUR COUNSELOR to determine which classes are each student’s top priority for registration for this summer.

  4. When you have spoken with your counselor to make sure you have the right classes, you are ready to register:
         - Go to this link
         - Log into Online Summer School Registration using student’s district email account
    - Choose which class(es) the student needs to take and indicate when they are able to attend
    - Submit the registration form.
Wait for an email notification that your student's counselor has verified these class selections. If you do not receive the email within one week of registering online, please contact your student's Counselor.

A submitted online registration does not mean the student is enrolled yet. Actual class schedules will be posted before the program begins in June.

If you have any further questions, please call Aeylin Summers, Summer Program Director, at 503-353-6141.
