The Grad Party is a long-held tradition at MHS and many other schools. This all-night, chaperoned, substance-free event allows the graduates to celebrate one of the biggest accomplishments of their lives in a safe, controlled environment.

Grad Party happens right after the graduation ceremony, June 11th. Buses will depart the venue with graduates and will return back to the school between around 5:00 AM. The location is kept a secret until the event. It is within 20 miles of Milwaukie.

Having the party on graduation night is part of the tradition. It’s hard to get everyone back together after graduation, so having it on graduation night results in better attendance and more fun!

So many! Past years have included gym sports (basketball, pickleball, dodgeball...), inflatable games, a rock wall, swimming, lazy river, bingo, movies, video games, fire pit, henna tattoo, photo booth, live entertainment and more. And lots of prizes, including cash! There really is something for everyone.

This event is organized 100% by parent volunteers. Our mission is to create an affordable event for all graduates to enjoy, and for everyone to go home with a prize. We would love more help!
